This was one of the first books I ever read, and boy did it come at the right time. I was in a low place when I was reading this, but I was fighting for my life I had to get it back and this book gave me all the tools and techniques to get my life back and it has shaped my whole personality to this day.
It has taught me how to change my inner dialogues to make sure my mind is at its best and most positive. It took a while for me to realise that it was changing me but now when I look back that booked saved my life and made me person you see today.
After reading a lot of other books about human behaviour and psychology I can now say that this book was actually using a lot of CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) techniques in order to change my negative thoughts. It had a ten-day mental cleanse in the middle of the book that trained my brain into never dwelling on a negative thought and just working on the solution.
When I was doing the mental cleanse, I noticed that I was very bad to my inner self and my negative thoughts were manifesting into bigger thoughts and taking over my brain. So, this book put a stop to each thought made me aware of it and made me deal with each thought there and then.
Although it was a slow process at the time it has trained my brain into a good habit. Now if a negative thought comes into my head, I automatically deal with it and it’s gone without even thinking now.
The book also deals with human emotions why we feel them and how to deal with them which answered a lot of questions for me and made me very aware.
